

I could sand the tops flat but rather just buy flat tops, or I guess for a wider spread of light the straw hats. once I narrow the search by colour, size and flat top. the white bases were a slightly off-white grey, otherwise identical, but after over 2yrs I haven't had to replace any. I ended up buying bulbs off eBay again, enough to do 2 cars for about $8 total, same price as the first batch I bought and also eBay China, but a different seller. Someone (on here) said unless paying about $6/bulb it's garbage and not worth it. I remember replacing all the lights in my car (trunk, dome, etc) with those wedge style LEDs off eBay, and the first batch were garbage and first winter they all died off. On another note you may want to change them over to LED while its apart if you are feeling confident. The whole dash and light setups are like this on these trucks.
